What is RTF?
Rich Text Format files are text based document files which have the RTF file extension. The format was developed by Microsoft in 1987 for the purpose of transferring documents between different platforms. Just about all popular word processing applications support this format and you will be able to find an application for it for all major desktop platforms.
Rich Text Format is a proprietary format owned by Microsoft and it is unique in the sense that it contains both code and human readable text. Text can be assigned attributes such as bold, italic, or underline, links can be added, and text alignment can also be managed. These documents use the ANSI standard to present the text and apply formatting rules.
How do I view an RTF file online?
Drag and drop an RTF file to Jumpshare in your browser to upload it and click to view the file once upload is complete. For a multipage document, you can navigate quickly to a different page using the page navigation controls at the top. The zoom tool allows you to zoom in or out the document for better reading.
